Vampires


Brujah;
::The Brujah are one of the seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The Brujah have a reputation as fierce warriors, their affinity for war is carried in their blood as their clan weakness is their rage, they are much more vulnerable to frenzy. Quick to anger and always passionate in the Modern Nights, they have been regaining their position as a clan of lofty philosophers and activists and are often pointed by their known and mysterious and unknown power and knowledge as a clan that should not mess with.::



Gangrel;
::The Gangrel are one of seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Gangrel, like the Brujah, are among the best vampire fighters. Unlike the Brujah, their ferocity stems from their animalistic instinct and rage, rather than anarchic anger. Gangrel are loners and prefer solitude; they're also the closest to nature and the beast than all the other vampire clans.::



Malkavians;
::The Malkavians are one of seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Malkavians are all clinically insane; the mental illnesses they suffer range from schizophrenia to near-catatonia. Strangely enough, they are a pillar of the Camarilla; historically they've beenKindred's seers and oracles, bound by strange insight and compulsions.::



Nosferatu;
::The Nosferatu are one of seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The damnedest of the damned, the Nosferatu are disfigured and have a frightening appearance. This means that they can only use sewers, and should they be seen by humans, they will violate theMasquerade. Due to this however, the Nosferatu have become very gifted at sneaking and hacking, which means they have information on almost everything and everyone. They gather information not only as a means of survival, but out of pure pleasure as well. The Nosferatu are ostracized by other vampires due to their appearance, but also their ability to dig up dirt on everyone. This doesn't stop the leaders of other vampire clans to come to them when they need information, however.::



Toreador;
::The Toreador are one of seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The clan has long been associated with art and socializing, which is incorporated into their weakness — when they are faced with a thing of beauty, they struggle to turn their attention from it.::



Tremere;
::The Tremere are one of seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The Tremere are a clan of mages, spellcasters, and warlocks, who use magics that they learned while living, in undeath. They are considered to be back-stabbers by other vampire clans. The Tremere as a clan are insular and secretive. While they are hated by many, this hate has not exceeded their usefulness. They have helped the Camarilla on many occasions.::



Ventrue;
::The Ventrue are one of seven playable clans in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The ruling class, the nobility, aristocracy, company CEOs, wealthy individuals, politicians—it's these people that make up the Ventrue clan. They ruled in life, and they rule in undeath as well. The Ventrue clan is the head of the Camarilla and members of this clan often become the "princes" or rulers of major cities. They move in the same high circles as the Toreadors, but unlike the Toreadors, Ventrue love to be in charge and they take on the burden of leadership stoically. The Camarilla as well as the Ventrue clan are hated with a passion by the Brujah and Gangrel clans, due to Ventrue desire to rule over all kindred.::


Mystic Vampire;
::Some vampires show a predisposed skill to the Dark Arts andNecromancy however mystic vampires are well rounded in all arcane arts and have tremendous magical power. These abilities come from the fact that Mystic vampires either were Homo Magi before they were turned or they were descendants from a long line of witches and warlocks and have been turned. Mystic vampires, because of their abilities in magic can overcome the limitations most vampires have. The lethal abilities of a vampire mixed with an affinity for magic that can be honed to transcendent levels makes a mystic vampire an extremely powerful being.::



Transcendent Vampire;
::The user with this ability either is or can transform into a Transcendent Vampire: a powerful vampiric being who has literally ascended to true godhood either through powerful magical feats or by divine intervention.In various forms of traditional folklore, vampires are often depicted as demonic beings who must feast on the blood of the living to survive and possess vulnerabilities to various things such as sunlight, garlic, holy relics, etc.  However, Transcendent Vampires are arguably completely the opposite.  Transcendent Vampires are often depicted as supernaturally attractive and possess an appearence identical to the one that they had in their previous life.  They also appear to have an inherently mezmerizing aura to their presence.  Many mortals or lesser beings may often feel an obsessive desire to be around the vampire in question or even follow and carry out their commands as mindless slaves.


Another thing that makes Transcendent Vampires unique is that despite them appearing to be related to things such as dark magic or inherently evil aspects, they are actually in fact shown to be often associated with or even assisting a higher power.  In fact, most Transcendent Vampires are sometimes seen preaching or more or less speaking of the relationship they have with the supreme being they may or may not have worshiped during their mortal lifetime. Overall, Transcendent Vampires are the supreme paragons of the species.  They are responsible for maintaining the natural balance between vampires, humans, as well as other monsters.  Due to the nature of their powers, they are capable of increasing their already amazing powers even further by absorbing various forms of energy.  The user is thus capable of challening most beings in existence.::


Zomphire;
::The user is a zompire, a bizarre creature combining the traits of vampires and zombies.They may have originally been vampires that feel prey to a zombifying virus or a mutating curse, or zomby infectees that were vampirized before the process was complete, probably as a desperate attempt to survive the infection.The last (and worst) possibility would be an engineered hybrid virus combining traits of zombies and vampires, a terrible bioweapon of mass destruction, as zompires are much more powerful and intelligent than zombies, while sharing their ferocious voracity and exponential numbers.::


Psi Vampire;
::User is a Psychic Vampire, a.k.a psi-vampire: a being who feeds on the life force or psionic forces of other beings, rather than blood. This ability doesn't change users physiology unless they become an astral vampire, user only gets a craving and the power to devour energy.::


Shinso Vampire;
::User with this ability either is or can transform into a Shinso, a vampiric creatures usually born to this state (or attain it through powerful magic like Evangeline A.K. Mcdowell), however unlike other blood-sucking species, the root of their blood lust is psychological rather than physical. Also, because they are also part of nature, they can change the world around them accordingly to their thoughts.


While being born from nature just as any natural spirits, the True Ancestor's minds and bodies are modeled after humans, so under the principle that it would be best for them to resemble those who they are supposed to rule over. They were born as a self-defense mechanism for the nature, created for the purpose of returning the world to its original state, before the corruption caused by humans or other mythical creatures.
In the case of other types may have been made through magic or pacts with a demonic entity etc. and may have had all vulnerabilities of normal vampires but as they age or grow in power they're weaknesses disappear. May have an affinity for dark magic ("dark" as in evil or just dangerous) or darkness magic (as in umbrakinesis the control of darkness and shadows).::
